Rachel I forgot to tell you: 4-y-o Max says you should definitely name the baby HotRod. Finn says Alexa (since we're luddites and "that girl on TV"—meaning Alexa—is still exotic to him). Nick says Bunny Baker Burnett. I'm a fan of Penelope.
What can you name her so that her nickname is either Buffy or Birdie (answer: anything). I also am really into your family Maudine lineage. Or if that is almost right but not quite: Ondine.
