The Corey Haim and Corey Feldman of newsletters is thisclose to blowing a gasket. The balm? Juicy #MeToo profiles, whip-smart motherhood essays, and one Ricki Lake.
OooooH! It will be interesting to see if 9pm gets more lively interest than 9 am. I suspect that newsletters that deal with sex, women, power, etc are NOT as eagerly read in the morning, as they are at night......But let me know.
And I assumed the reason I got The Spread early was because I was reading the NYorker story about parenting and wishing I had your perspective on it. My thoughts are very powerful: I'll try not to interfere with your timing in the future.
Also, that story about sex and older people. I spent far too long trying to figure out what I was looking at in those photos. Jellyfish in a bucket with a fishnet thrown over it? What did that have to do with my sex life? (I don't want to know.)
The SPREAD is getting more and more lovable, and more and more brilliant!l CONGRATS ON YOUR BEST YET! MAGGIE! RACHEL!!
Thank you, E. Jean! Means a lot, especially because I accidentally hit publish 14 hours before our usual go-time!!!!
